Rail fastening systems differ according to specific rail track characteristics of high speed rail, normal rail and light rail/subway respectively. More types for each are classified depending on train running speed, loaded weight, track amplitude and so on, i.e. all systems could be customized and designed according to specific requirements and features of the rails for new construction or maintenance.
